Soft-lock, not cliff: what happens when your trial ends
FlashFender trials are 7 days on the live app. When they end, you hit a soft lock — read your data, pause writes, keep everything. No cliff, no data hostage.
Most DMS trials end one of two ways: your access dies instantly (the cliff), or you get trapped in a system you can’t export from (the hostage). FlashFender does neither.
The 7-day trial
Every plan starts with a free 7-day trial on the live app — not a watered-down sandbox. Full product access, your real data. No card required.
The soft lock
When the trial ends, FlashFender applies a soft lock:
- You can still sign in and read your data.
- Writes pause (new deals, edits, sends).
- Nothing is deleted, and exports keep working.
- Unlock comes through paid billing when it ships in-app.
The whole point: we earn the renew, we don’t trap you.
Your data is always yours
Soft-lock is the exit guarantee in action. Full dealership data export, webhooks and an open API shipped in Tier 1 — portability is a feature, not a request form.
The billing honesty
