Flash AI catalog
A map of AI features — what they do, where they live, and what “Not configured” means.
Purpose
Flash AI is operator-configured on the deployment. Until enabled, surfaces show amber Not configured — no fake completions. This catalog helps dealers know what becomes available after setup.
Surfaces
| Feature | App route | Doc |
|---|---|---|
| Desk Copilot | /ai-desk (when routed) | AI Desk |
| NL inventory search | Desk / inventory | AI Desk |
| Lead scoring | Lead detail | Lead scoring |
| After-hours first response | Leads / SMS | After-hours AI |
| Disclosure draft helper | Inventory | Compliance — Ontario |
| Governance & kill switch | /settings/ai-governance | AI governance |
Setup (operator)
- Operator enables Flash AI on the Worker deployment (see Operators).
- Dealership admin reviews Settings → AI governance — allowed tools, retention, logging.
- Staff training: human confirm on every customer-facing draft.
Daily workflow (staff)
- Open AI Desk for search/summarize tasks on allowed data.
- Use draft buttons on leads/inventory — edit before send.
- Check governance console monthly for blocked prompts or policy hits.
- Never paste SIN, full credit files, or passwords into copilot.
Permissions
- Admin — governance settings, enable/disable tools per role.
- Sales / BDC — copilot read tools scoped to assigned records.
- Platform operator — deployment-level model and key management.
Canadian notes
- AI-generated disclosure text is draft only — registered dealer remains accountable under MVDA/VSA.
- CASL applies to AI-drafted SMS/email — human must verify consent and content.
- No vendor names for models in customer-facing UI — internal ops docs may reference infrastructure separately.
