Quotations
Quote from real stock, share with the buyer, and convert to a deal when they say yes.
Purpose
Quotations sit between CRM interest and a structured deal. They lock in unit, price components, and trade placeholders so your team sends consistent numbers — then convert with an explicit confirm instead of re-keying.
Setup
- Inventory — units must be on the lot (or clearly marked) with accurate pricing.
- Settings → Business — dealership block for PDF/email headers.
- CRM — optional: start from a lead tied to the same VIN.
Daily workflow
- From Quotations or a lead detail, start New quote.
- Select unit — pulls asking price, fees, and disclosure flags from inventory.
- Add trade, fees, discounts, and notes the buyer should see.
- Share — copy text, print, or email when Resend is configured.
- Convert to deal — explicit action; quote status moves to converted and opens deal workflow.
- If the buyer walks, expire or void — do not delete audit history.
